Sandholmsudden, 11:34

Almost everyone has returned to work after the summer break, and so the market has less people today. Only those who have bothered to drive here for the weekend gather around wondering where the others have gone.
We say hello to Marina and buy fish from Marie and pies and cakes from Ritva, and then I wander down to watch the boats coming and going while Irma talks to people.
The summer has returned and I will spend the afternoon in the garden pulling weeds, mowing, and getting bronzed. In weather like this Sundö feels perfect.
Even the algae in the sea has retreated as though worried about spoiling our weekend. Swimming takes place.
