The woods, 8:48
Working days begin today, and so I have my breakfast and go for a brisk walk. Near the adult playground, just before I turn onto the long path that leads eventually to the ring road, I see a pole covered in stickers.
Either the anti-racists or the racists have the upper hand. Let us hope for the former.
I walk along the long path listening to the sound of the birds and the distant whine of sirens on the ring road. I think about the things I need to do this week and make a mental list of when I should do them. Eventually I pause, open my phone, and transfer the mental list into Todoist before I forget it.
A couple of hours later I will record an interview with Arlene Foster for the Common Practice podcast. It will have weird technical issues which will leave me wondering what I will need to do to edit it into something usable.
Not too much I hope.
