We get to Tirmo and sit and wait for the ferry. I wander down to see how the site looks. The stage looks like this.

Tirmo Blues will start in two or three hours and continue tomorrow. This year they have no big headline act. Instead they seem to have got cover bands and impersonators. Drink Floyd will appear tomorrow, and the festival will end with The Miracle performing “A Night with Queen”. I have a genuine curiosity about whether this will attract people in the same way that acts like Danny did in the past.

I certainly have no desire to watch a Finnish band attempt Bohemian Rhapsody.
