George Foreman, meet Mister Lidl. Mister Lidl, George Foreman.

We bought a George Foreman grill in a sale at Stockmann a few years ago, and it has proved one of the most useful whimsical purchases we have ever made. I have always wanted to own one in a childish way, but it turns out that wanting one in an adult way also makes sense. It really does make barbeque-like grilling fantastically easy, and something that we can do at a moment’s notice.

We have fish burgers and vegetable burgers, with grilled shallots and salad. We found the burgers the last time we passed through Lidl in Söderkulla. They taste better than we expected.

The roast shallots taste slightly caramelised.
