We spent the morning at the market where we umped into Ville and Margit who had driven from Kotka for a summer visit. The weather did not favour them. It had begun to turn cold in preparation for rain.

The rain starts and we decide to head back to Helsinki. We would have to leave tomorrow morning, and we can see nothing to gain by sitting indoors watching the rain, which does not resemble anything like a passing shower.

Trulle spends much of the early afternoon with us, half interested in what we might do and half interested in keeping out of the possible rain.

Instead we will drive home and watch two and a half episodes of a Netflix series about the Fundamentalist Church of Latter Day Saints, led by Warren Jeffs. The programmes showed some “mainstream Mormons” looking positively sane as they condemned Jeffs and his cult.
