Today I washed all the windows in the house, and all four surfaces of each window. It took approximately seven hours. I began it as soon as I had finished recording a conversation with people from wp-zimmer, a cultural space in Antwerp. This will form next week’s edition of Common Practice.

After I have finished washing windows I go for a long walk to stretch my back and legs.

As I walk back towards the house I pass a wrapped vehicle. I can see just enough of it to decide that I can spot a hidden beetle. I could have got it wrong but I don’t think so.
