Two of these have fallen from the tree by the garden gate in the past couple of days. The tree has dozens more.

We thought we had a huave tree in the garden but Udaya corrected us when he came round. Apparently jackfruit come in several types and we have a different type than the ones we have seen before. This one has fallen too soon, and will now never ripen. When the rest of the fruit ripen, though, we will have a lot of fruit to cook and eat.
