Kamppi, 18:12

At Kamppi I look through a set of old photographs and my eyes alight on two featuring old cars. I look at them with some fascination.
I rephotograph one of them, which has faded and yellowed and set about restoring it with Pixelmator on my iPad. It gets better and some of the detail that had disappeared comes back again. I ask and the photograph dates from sometime in the middle of the nineteen thirties.
The people stand in front of an Essex, ”a brand of automobile produced by the Essex Motor Company between 1918 and 1922, and by Hudson Motor Car Company of Detroit, Michigan between 1922 and 1933”.
