Leo Restaurant, 18:37
Sahan, Simi and I ran the Friday DGD session, although it needs little actually “running” nowadays. It has become a club, a digitally based youth centre. Everyone turned up, opened the laptop in front of them, and logged into Minecraft.
Today I introduced pillagers to the village which turned them from fighting each other to banding together to try to remove the pillagers. I also introduced several snow golems that wandered around trailing snow behind them.
Afterwards Farhan arrived to meet Sahan and plan a visit to the centre in K.S. Road where we hope to start 2 new DGD clubs when I return to India in April. If the clubs start (and I feel sure that they will) then Farhan will work as the club leader. We will then have enough groups to thoroughly test what we have developed so far.
Now we have walked from Temple Place to Leo for dinner. I order fish kadai and make the mistake of trying to move the bowl to photograph it. The bowl has the temperature of a newly formed sun and I casually stand up and walk over to the washbowl before the tips of my fingers actually start to melt.
The kadai tastes just like I wanted and I eventually manage to photograph it.
