When we ate yesterday at Samudra beach, Anamika expressed her determination to stay somewhere with a sea view while in Kovalam. Today we learn that she has managed to do just this.

We decide to meet up again and Tangaray takes us to Temple Place. We walk down to the beach and along to Thiruonam Beach Resort which we know because we have changed money there.

We go up to their room (C2, fact fans) and sit on their balcony while they get ready to go out. They have an excellent view, and the lighthouse is close at hand. I photograph it as the sun starts to set for my third beach picture in a row.

We walk down to Leo and eat there. We all order and then share everything. By the end of the meal I will conclude that I preferred the fish tikka masala that I ordered.

I liked everything else though, including the snapper in banana leaves and the ginger and cheese naan bread.
