Yesterday at Prisma we wandered past the Alko and I noticed that they had a delivery of Fuller’s Vintage Ale, and so I went in and bought one.

They form a limited edition and I had one last year or the year before. They taste very smooth, with a full flavour, and 8.5% alcohol by volume, as they say.

As you can see I got bottle number 062241. I wonder whether this means that they brew 999999 bottles or some random number smaller than that.

I also notice that both the bottle and box claim to hold the 2020 vintage. Presumably this means that it has brewed in the bottle for a year or more.
