Today I set off for Arcada for a day with the VAKEN project. At Sörnäinen I realise that the transport system has worked far too efficiently and I will arrive absurdly early. I set off to walk to Arabianranta.

On the way I pass a huge mural and stop to photograph it. I may have done this before but I don’t think so. I think I have only glanced at it from the tram.

I get to Arcada, discover it full of new students on guided tours, and hide in the library where I download and install Mailbird on my laptop.

I meet Micke and we head to Momo and More for lunch. Elena joins us and we initiate the VAKEN kickoff for the second phase of the project.
