Today we returned to Helsinki where the weather has followed the same trajectory as Sundö. I spoke to Mark yesterday via Zoom and London seems the only place in the world not suffocating under unprecedented heat. He sat there with a jumper on, drinking tea and complaining about the cold.

I look along the road at the woods and try to count the shades of green I can see. I used to do that as a teenager sitting at the edge of the sports field.

We will do some gardening and Irma will tend to the plants that have missed us while we watered plants in Sundö.

The tomatoes still live!
