Benita’s, 16:23
Yesterday we drove to Viking’s and had a chat with Nina and Marie. We also bought the fish we wanted, came back, and started mowing.
We did not have to get up for the market today and so we didn’t. Instead we carried on mowing, and got ready in our own time.
The weather has become a full-blown heat wave: 27 degrees this morning and rising. I mow for ten minutes and go indoors for half a litre of water.
At some point it becomes obvious that we will need to go to Benita’s to get more water. We get there and decide to stay for one beer. Not just any beer, but the new local brew advertised outside the café.
Irma has a Beta Lager and I have a Red Smoke. Both get a thumbs up. We sit at a table and I take a photograph looking out from under the awning at the beach.
Kråkö Bryggeri has opened in a small village near Tirmo and we make up our minds to go and have a look next week. They have tastings and a small restaurant.
