We get to the ferry just as the ferry leaves but we realise that, even if we had arrived five minutes earlier, we would still find ourselves left behind at Tirmo. The queue contained a ferry-load of cars plus two.

I get out and walk around. I look over at Sundö, and round at the various boats moored or otherwise tied up. I notice a lorry parked on the island and suspect that the ferry will turn right round.

This proves correct. The ferry loads the big truck as soon as it can and comes back to collect us, and the trail of cars now parked behind us.
