Kiviportintie, 9:37
Today the sun will continue to shine down and we will continue to do things at home.
My morning walk takes me down to Alepa, right past the church and the whole length of Kiviportintie. At the end I stop to look at the two new houses that have taken a surprisingly long time to get finished.
The boards outside suggested last year that the owners would move in before Christmas but the work continues to progress very slowly. I see occasional men doing small tasks but nothing too major.
Perhaps the collapse in progress has a connection to the pandemic and the retreat of Estonian builders back to Estonia.
I will pass a third new house in a minute, as I walk along Riskutie, and work there seems to have suddenly sped up. It started last but looks as though it will finish first.
