Söderkulla, 15:00

Summer has arrived properly. The temperature has reached 25 degrees. In Finland that means custom cars.

As we drive towards Pellinge we see convoys of classic cars of the Chevrolet Impala type heading towards Helsinki. Irma points out that custom cars gather in the market square in downtown Helsinki on the first Friday of every month.

“But not usually in this quantity”, I reply.

We reach Lidl in Söderkulla and see this parked in the car park. If I remember correctly from my schooldays it has a 1930s Ford A as its foundation.

We will continue to see more after we leave the supermarket and head for the ferry. But nothing else remotely like this.
