During the pandemic we discovered craft beer. Very recently we discovered that much Finnish craft beer comes from breweries who gigantic factories. We also discovered that some of the larger independents have started distributing some of the small independents’ beer. Saimaa has started distributing Malmgård’s beers for example.
Two weeks ago we discovered an altogether different craft brewery in Herttaniemi. Etko has three owners and three employers: both roles occupied by the same three people. Their brewery lives on the third floor of an old office building and their beers come in small tins with limited edition stick-on labels.
Here you see five cans, all of which tasted delicious. Their website has a range of beers that they make, and a separate page which lists the beers they have in stock (ie the beers that they have made recently).
