I spent the day working at Arcada, with all the joys of getting out into the world and doing things like shopping for lunch. I have great lunches at home but sometimes it feels good to find yourself in a shop wondering what you should buy, and in what quantities.

Today I decided that a Lidl bean salad topped up with tinned mackerel would provide a protein-packed lunch, and indeed it did.

Home after a day of teaching and talking on Zoom, I went for a walk with Irma and then returned home to see if any birds had yet adopted the little house I nailed to the back shed ten days or so ago.

Not yet, although I did see some tits looking at it over the weekend. I put up the food ball to entice them but it looks as though I might have to up my offer.
