In Spring we spot Finns in shorts, because as soon as the snow starts to melt some Finns dive right in. Today feels slightly warmer than yesterday: summer has arrived.

Today we got the metro to the centre and went to Kamppi mall to look around Muji. On thr way Irma wanders into Indiska. I stand and wait outside the Bierhus Rotterdam (closed even for takeaways) and take photos of the reflections in the window. While I do this I catch sight of my first view of shorts in the wild.

”Shortsit,” I cry quietly to myself.

By the time we get back home we will have spotted three.
