Rag’N’Bone Man

Once upon a time, two or three years ago, we found ourselves looking at the television. We realised that we had found ourselves watching a film of someone called Rag’N’Bone Man singing his blue-eyed soul, and we did. We really liked it. As random things at eleven o’clock at night go, it seemed excellent.

We sought out more of his music to discover that we had watched his entire repertoire. He had one really good album and nothing else.

Now, three or four years later, he has a second album on the way. His record label have released the first single as a video on YouTube. (Do you even say “record label” anymore?)

The video takes one idea and expands it. I think it works well.

The album comes out in April 2021.
