Linnanherrantie, 8:53

For the first time in a week I head out after breakfast for a walk. We have found my studded winter boots which make it more likely that I won’t fall over at the first sight of ice.

I listened to one of Aga’s podcasts about fermentation, which I discussed with her last week, and I found it really interesting. I extended my walk to make sure I heard the entire episode.

I walk down Linnanherrantie and at the corner, where I will turn into Riskutie, I stop to photograph the scene. I miss capturing the empty 95 bus but get a quieter picture instead.

The temperature has dropped to minus nineteen celsius but the complete lack of any wind makes everything feel calm and gentle. Only my ears grumble; the rest of me feels fine out here.
