Rohdinkuja, 8:23

I spent yesterday thinking and planning. I will spend today actually doing. Before that I go for a normal workday walk.
I step out of the house into 2 or 3 centimeters of snow. I photograph the street which takes on its usual yellowish hue as technology meets snow. Some of this results from the lens on my phone and some results from the fluorescent light from the street lamps. The effect, as always, interests and pleases me.
As I walk, listening to Adam Rutherford and Hannah Fry discussing fungii, I find myself dodging snowploughs, busy cleaning the pavements. This, I think to myself, must count as a real snowfall.
Today I wear a thick cardigan and the wind stops trying to bother me.
