Temppeliaukion Kirkko, 19:45
I spent the day teaching online. When I say that I mean that I spent the entire day teaching online. I started with CMS at 10:15. I had lunch at 12:30. I had a second CMS class at 13:10. That ended at 16:00 and I started the MA Digital Mediascapes course at 16:15.
That ended in time for me to drive to the stone church, where we last went on Tuesday October 20. Then we heard Phillip Glass. Today we will hear Mozart, Bartok and Shostakovich.
Once again the audience sits masked and spaced apart I photograph the conductor, James Salomon Kahane, and Kanerva Mannermaa, the lead violinist, along with a couple of other members of the orchestra.
Midway through the concert torrential rain will threaten to drown out the orchestra as it hammers on the roof.
