As I walk down Linnanherrantie I pass two boxes on the end of the woods. I pass them regularly but this time I stop and notice them. They tilt slightly in different directions. They have layers of fading graffiti, and remnants of various attempts to post stickers and tape posters onto them.

Today I listen to Malcolm Morley’s 2001 album AliensAliens primarily focuses on electronics, drum machines, and treated vocals. It achieves a 21st century soul effect. He released another album last year: this time reverting much more to the sounds he explored with Help Yourself.

Perhaps I should seek that out.
