I step outside from time to time, to break the monotony of sitting in front of the computer. I rake leaves. The oak tree next door drops more. I go out and rake again, and so on-

In the late afternoon I wander into the road to check the mail box. I notice the lantern and stop to photograph it.

I think about Rojava, which I learned about this morning on a morning walk, fuelled by Laurie Taylor’s podcast.

This afternoon I assembled one of the next Miaaw podcasts, and sent copies to Sophie and Jenny. I then wrote to Liisa to ask if she would like to do a music series when we return to the web in January.
