Twenty minutes ago I have made myself lunch after a morning of hanging out on Zoom in meetings of one sort and another. In twenty minutes I shall return to Zoom for a long afternoon’s teaching.
Right now I have noticed the teapot that I used. We bought it years ago when we visited Port Sunlight. I stand it on a surface and photograph it.
Port Sunlight houses the Lady Leverhulme museum, where I used to go in my childhood. I suspect I learned to love Pre-Raphaelite paitings there. The teapot came from the museum gift shop along with a reproduction tin box based on a Surf box from the sixties or seventies. We still use it to keep our washing powder in.
This kind of thing runs through my mind when I get let out of Zoom for thirty minutes.
After the teaching ends I will attend a doctoral seminar and then an important Pixelache meeting. I shall do both of these by typing numbers into Zoom.
