Linnalahdenpoisto, 8:36

By twisting and turning without much forward planning I can find places to walk which I have forgotten or never visited: even after walking almost daily for six months.

I walk over the little bridge in Linnalahdenpoisto and have to take a moment to decide into which category it falls. I decide that, of course, I have seen it before, although I may not actually have walked across it.

As I walk I listen to Laurie Taylor discussing car ownership among young males of Pakistani ancestry in Bradford. Later he talks to a Chinese academic about the rapidly increasing private car ownership among Chinese middle classes.

“Fun is my middle name”.
