Outside Arcada, 15:03

This morning I went to Migri and put in my application for Finnish citizenship. I passed the (hitherto unmentioned) on-the-spot Finnish test and avoided instant rejection. The test went like this: “Since you are applying for citizenship, I will conduct this interview entirely in Finnish. Do you have any objections?”

I spent the rest of the day at Arcada, where the Minecraft server has collapsed over the weekend. We restarted it and I went on to make some more tests.

I also spoke to Mark again, and we passed an interesting forty minutes talking about a variety of things that would probably interest us and nobody else.

Eventually I leave the building and, as I do, the wind buries me in leaves up to my ankles. I walk over to the grass and photograph one of the shifting piles at my feet.
