Another day, another podcast: this morning as I walked I listened to the philosopher Rebecca Goldstein discussing her belief system, and the idea of mattering.

I spent the morning on organising and preparing things I need to get done soon. I really used Todoist to plan my tasks over the rest of the month. Things became clearer.

I spent the afternoon preparing this week’s CMS classes.

Now I have shut everything down in order to prowl the garden. I looked at a solar powered bulb hanging in front of the log shed. I briefly switch my iPad back on.

Then, the rain having stopped, I sit outside either doing nothing or thinking deeply depending on your point of view. Either way: no machinery involved.
