We have stopped for gasoline. We also stop to see if the McDonalds next to the gas station still has their summer offer of a free glass with every premium meal. They don’t.

Every person in Porvoo has arrived at McDonalds. The drive-thru has a huge queue of cars. The counter inside has a huge queue of pedestrians.

The sign on the outside wall says something like Do Not Park Your Bicycle Here. Someone has parked their bicycle almost beneath it. The wall stands deserted apart from the one bicycle.

We leave burgerless.
