Today I spent the morning explaining xsl to the first year students, whose heads hurt as much as mine by the end of the session. In the afternoon I did administration of the discussion kind.

Now it seems to be Cat Day, and we are surrounded by them. Moonshine is racing around, in and out of the house. The new cat, now officially known as Sunshine, has been opening up a bit and is now recovering on the chair it has taken for its own. The third cat, the black and white stray, has just demonstrated that it is now living in the roof of our carport, and has come in to be fed.
