The bay, 8:24

I wake up and hear no sounds. I look out of the window and the rain has stopped. Instead I can see a thick mist.
I get dressed and walk down to the bay, with my iPad in hand. I photograph the bay, covered in a very unseasonal mist.
On the way back to the cottage I will meet Camilla, on her way to the fields to prepare for tonight’s market. She will tell me that I should have seen it an hour earlier. Apparently, you could not see the trees in the photograph at all.
As I get back the rain starts: a little trickle, then something more, and finally we return to the downpour of yesterday. I have breakfast and return to the sauna house.
The rain will continue for five or six hours.
