Last night we had heavy thunder: bright, loud and overhead. This morning the weather changed and I went for an eighty minute walk. I accompanied this with the latest edition of The Infinite Monkey Cage and a piece of music by Sufjan Stevens.

We have driven back to Sundö and I walk around the garden. I notice that the cherry trees have responded to the pruning and cutting that happened in Spring. They have started growing cherries again in reasonable numbers.

I will find out in a couple of weeks if I can eat this crop. Hopefully I can.

In the evening I will go to check the boats. They will both seem perfect. Neither will leak, and both will tempt me to take them out into the bay.

I will resist.
