Porvoo, 14:36

The weather changed again. The rain and wind returned. We decided to drive to Porvoo to look at the old town.
We went to the shop that houses a motley group of local artists and craftspeople and bought two masks to wear when we finally board an aeroplane. Irma has Betty Boop and I have a patterned one.
Outside the ever-expanding Zum Beispiel restaurant I spy an old Citroen, now pressed into service as an ice-cream van. Presumably it will open again when tourists return.
Porvoo remains much emptier than other summers. Flights have restarted from many places (but not America or China) so perhaps things will change over the next couple of weeks.
