Suddenly, for the first time in days, summer comes out to play. The gray clouds all hurry away and then the wind drops to nothing. The sky turns bright blue and little fluffy clouds appear here and there.

I decide to photograph the sun to see what the iPad makes of it. It makes images like this.

Later I will wander down to look at the boat, which I floated earlier. It will have some water in it, but not very much.

We may well find ourselves rowing tomorrow.
