The new terrace works well, especially with the apparently never-ending heatwave

We have sat outside all evening and now that we have finally decided to go indoors I look up at the sky. The sun has not given up, the light has not gone, and the clouds look amazing.

I watch the clouds pour into the sky for a few minutes and then take some photographs. They genuinely look like this: #noeffects, #nofilters, as they say on Instagram.
