I get up and clear my head with a very brisk walk past the gas station, down to the beach, and back up to Itäväylä. I pause at the now-abandoned TV repair shop, whose abandonment I noticed a week ago.

I decide that I should have photographed it since it constitutes a small part of Vartiokylä’s history. For all I know It has played an important part in some people’s lives.

I photograph it now, while I still can.

Later I will spend several hours trying to think through the final stages of the Structuring Information course. It has gone well but I need to bring it to a specific kind of close, in order to lead into CMS in the autumn. I need a final project that will enable me to do this.
