This morning I cycled to Puotila metro where I boarded an almost empty train to the centre. I sat a long way from any other passengers who all tried to sit a long way from each other and me. I have a doctor’s appointment.

Because the metro now runs on a reduced schedule I had no way to plan my arrival time exactly. I arrived in the centre seventeen minutes too early. I walk out and photograph the main railway station which looks almost completely deserted at what would usually count as the tail end of the morning rush hour.

I walk along an empty alley and down towards the metro, where I find a set of chairs and a table. I sit down and process the photo, before walking back up to Tervystalo.

I will leave an hour later an almost healthy man.
