I have gone for a forty five minute walk. The sky has a deceptive blueness. It may look like summer but my hands hurt with cold, even with my gloves on.

I pass the self-service gas station and wonder if the prices have started falling yet. Saudi Arabia and Russia have started a commercial battle: pumping out more oil than the world wants in order to drive the price down and the other out of business.

I noticed this morning that the UAE has joined in too.
