Arcada began distributing disinfectant hand-wash around the building sometime last week, and we have now all received emails asking us to prepare to begin teaching all our courses online. I spot one poised to catch people entering or leaving the online media lab.

Yesterday Estonia closed all schools, universities, cinemas, and ferries as the WHO declared coronavirus an official global pandemic. Yesterday Denmark did the same. If I understand Norway and Seden went into lockdown mode earlier in the week.

Tonight the Finnish government will meet to decide whether or not to follow suit. I have done as asked and will arrive at home with my work laptop, my audio recorder, and more.
