I have come to Bulevardi for a meeting with Tom Crockford and a fellow Rotarian to discuss what we have done with Snowcastle Valley. Irma has arranged for the four of us to meet at Café Ekberg, and I have arrived first by tram.

I stand and look at the shop and café and decide that I like Finnish traditions, and afternoon coffee and cake at Ekberg certainly counts as a long-standing Helsinki tradition.

We will have a pleasant meeting in a quiet alcove and then head back to Itäkeskus. I will go home to write an application and spend the evening editing it.
