Today’s laundry included my shoulder bag, which meant that I had to empty it. It has lots of pockets which means that it sometimes contains things I have forgotten about.

I had long ago forgotten about this pen, a free gift inside a bag full of free gifts from the early days of Kingfisher airlines.

It still works which, sadly, we cannot say about the airline.

After I photograph this we will head to Leo restaurant for a dinner date with Karl Goodsell from Positive Change for Marine Life.

We will leave feeling very glad we did.
