We have come to the Taj hotel for a meeting with the general manager, Lallith Viswakumar; a good friend of the Indian ambassador in Helsinki.

Vani Rao has asked us to bring some gifts for him, and so we have. The hotel has a huge wedding taking place in a few days time, with 1,000 or more guests. He leaves us to order lunch while he goes to deal with an issue on the other side of the site.

I photograph the pool while we wait for our lunch. Afterwards Lallith will drive us around the grounds in a golf cart.
