Arcada, 13:37
Did it rain this morning, you ask. Yes it did, I reply. Next.
Yesterday I had made some labels for the Dop Creative products, and Irma sent them to the printer that she uses. This morning, I learned that the printer cannot deal with svg files, so I was tasked with making perfect artwork in the guise of pdfs. An hour later I sent something, entirely unsure of what we will get back.
Note to self: I don’t like ending up in that position, although I have no idea how I could have avoided it.
I go for a walk around the building to limber up and clear my mind. I look through one of the semi-frosted windows that stop us all sliding off the balconies to our deaths. I can see some details of the apartments opposite so I photograph the slit of clear glass. I imagine it as the cover of an album on Factory Records in the early eighties.
Next I will edit and prepare episode 32 of the Miaaw podcasts, before Mirko and I set about recording a fake interview for George Fleming. I will answer some written questions he sent me this morning, acting as though he sits opposite me, mike in hand.
