British Embassy, 19:10

I have taught from 9:15 until 16:30 with a fifteen minutes lunch break. I had the first Scratch “Think Like A Coder” class in the morning, and another CMS class in the afternoon. The first year will like Scratch very much indeed.

Shortly after I finished supervising the CMS class, Irma collected me from Arcada and drove us across town to the British Embassy, where we will have the annual Guy Fawkes celebration. One beer, one hotdog, and several conversations later, and the bonfire has begun.

Soon they will light the fireworks, which have got a lot more fun since Tom Dodd arrived as ambassador.
