Today the routine varies. Instead of walk-clean-shower-eat I have found myself getting up later than expected and engaged in walk-eat-clean and possibly shower later. I have decided to expand cleaning to cover wiping all the doors down with Tolu.

I remove the plaster of Paris heart from the door of what we used to call Naa’s room and put it on the kitchen table. Much Tolu later I go back to pick it up and notice that some glass ornament swinging in the window has blessed it with a rainbow.

I capture the moment and then replace the heart. My shower will not occur until the evening, after a lengthy trip to Prisma.
