I have just finished my first doctoral seminar. The cold morning has brightened into a warm summery afternoon and so I have walked down from Kaisaniemi to clear my head. I feel happy insofar as I seem to have found a group of interesting classmates, and interesting tutors, unlike the ones I had almost nothing to do with at Aalto.

I pass two more scooters looking like dogs sniffing each other. I watch them, but they notice me watching and both stand completely still.

They do not fool me.
