The plane left LA half an hour late yesterday. The flight took eleven hours. The time difference meant that we left in the evening and arrived in Helsinki the following evening.
Now we have arrived home.
The colours of autumn in Helsinki differ wildly from the colours in either Hawaii or Santa Monica. I might describe these colours as muted.
