This morning we bought one day bus passes for $5.75 each and took the number 2 to Iolani Palacr, where the Mauna Kea campaign had a demonstration against the TMT telescope.

The demonstration features much singing and ukelele playing, and feels more like a street party than the one we attended yesterday. People have the Hawaian flag upside down as a gesture of identification and solidarity.

After we have sat chatting and said goodbye, we will spend the rest of the day getting on and off buses and loving it.
